Essential Oils to beat the winter blues Part 2:

Yesterday I wrote about Sweet Orange and Geranium Essential Oils.

Many of you will have your favourite essential oils that uplift you and help you get through the day. I welcome feedback and a discussion on this.

Bergamot is a lovely light citrus essential oil. (I use the FCF type). It is uplifting and can support you in cases of anxiety, depression, eating disorders.

Ylang Ylang (I still have supplies of the “extra” which is the top grade. This will not be available for long as it is not easy to find now) is a heady, sensual floral aroma that may make you feel mellow and chilled.

Clary Sage may help support you if you hormonal imbalances that result in feeling of low esteem, anxiety and depression. I have seen over the years that if you have these hormonal imbalances, you will love the smell of the oil, otherwise you will not be partial to it!

If you like the sound of these oils, I have created a popular blend of the above oils called Uplift that you can use in the bath, oil diffuser, mix for massage etc
